The movie premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 19, 2023, and people liked it. It won the Grand Prix and the FIPRESCI Prize. It’s scheduled to be released in the United States on December 15, 2023, in the United Kingdom on February 2, 2024, and in Poland on February 9, 2024. A24 is distributing it in the U.S., and Gutek Film is doing it in Poland. The National Board of Review listed it as one of the top 5 international films of 2023, and it’s the British pick for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.
